Ingmar Jungnickel has over a decade of experience working in aerodynamics, sports technology, and innovation.

He began his career at FES in Germany as an aerodynamics expert working in track cycling. He then transitioned to Specialized-Racing to conduct tests and run real time simulations for pro-cycling teams like Team Quickstep and Boels-Dohlmans.

Specialized Bicycle Components made Ingmar their Aerodynamics Lead in 2015, where he helped to create the fastest bicycles in the world. Ingmar started the Futures Innovation Group at Specialized where he explored the future of the sport and joined US Speedskating as Chair of the Sports Science Commission.

In 2018 the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee named Ingmar the National Sports Science Coach of the Year. Ingmar developed a new technique for the Team Pursuit in speedskating, a strategy that broke the World Record and was adopted by all three medaling teams at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

In 2024 Ingmar started Inspire Gold to develop game-changing technologies in sports.
